I was with my friend and his dog on a road trip last week. We had such a good time, we didn’t notice it was getting late and we still didn’t have a place to stay. Looking around, we realized that most of the motels around did not allow pets in their premises. So, it took us a lot of time to find a place to stay. Good thing we bumped into long-time friend. Our friend suggested Motel 6, which was only two blocks away. It was a pet-friendly establishment and he, luckily enough, had two budget motel coupons which he gave to us so we could get discounts.

When we arrived at the place, it was way better than we expected. The place was environment-friendly and it had great surroundings. The front desk lady immediately entertained us and processed our coupons. We got cheap motel rates from the coupons.
The room was quite big for the two of us. It was well-ventilated and it had all the standard amenities of a room. The place was also wi-fi ready and television had great reception. The bed and pillows were comfortable and cozy too. The bathroom was also modern-looking and all the things inside were in good working order.

The next morning, we had a wonderful breakfast at their restaurant. The only thing we didn’t like about the motel was their restaurant. We had to wait for a couple of time to get vacant seats. Nevertheless, the food was delicious.

The overnight stay we had at the Motel 6 was a wonderful one. Even if it was an unexpected visit and a cheap one, we were able to get a comfortable good night’s rest. And our pet was happy as well.

I realized that using coupons is a pretty good way to save money on vacations. Now, I always keep coupons in my bag when I travel. They’re handy especially for those unexpected overnight stays like we had.
